Phil Peters led the Reno Raiders to a nifty 15-5 win over the Tallahassee Captains. The Reno first baseman, who is tied for 5th in the TAAA with a .773 slugging percentage, was a force of nature. He banged out 4 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 2 doubles. The Captains fall to 7-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2062 season.

Scott Price had a big 2-run double for the Raiders in the bottom of the second inning. With Reno trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Carlos Sanchez and swatted a double to right. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Raiders ahead, 3-2.

"I like the roll we're on," said Reno manager Maziba Ewansiha.
