Earthquakes Pull Out Late-Game Win, 9-8
The San Francisco Earthquakes did just enough to secure a victory over the Bloomington Blazers, 9-8, in 10 innings at Arson Arena. Nobody did more than pitcher Justin Allmond. The save was credited to Alejandro Anaya, his 1st. The Blazers drop to 8-10, as their stumbling start to the 2064 season continues.

San Francisco used the clutch hitting of Gil Delk to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Earthquakes the lead, 8-7. For the game, Delk had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"This is a resilient bunch," said San Francisco manager Bill DesMarais.
