Navedo Goes Deep Twice, Helps Fireballs Top Captains, 10-2
Victor Navedo made an impact in the 10-2 Joplin win over Tallahassee. Navedo, who is tied for 4th in the TAAA with a .786 slugging percentage, slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Paul Alexander went 7.1 innings for Joplin to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs. He scattered 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record improves to 1-0.
