Billings Rallies for 5-3 Victory
Jason Martin was locked in. The right-hander led the Billings Mustangs to a 5-3 win against the Amarillo Armadillos at Armadillos Park. Ken Pratt picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. David Frisk suffered the loss. Ernie Nielsen closed the game out for Billings, earning his 7th save.

Matt Yardley came through with a big-time hit for Billings. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Yardley.

The win takes Billings to 11-6.
