Ryan Catalano was the difference-maker for the Albuquerque Cacti in what turned into a shootout with the Calgary Hitmen. Catalano, the 3rd overall pick in the 2061 draft, went 2-for-4 in the 11-10 Cacti win. Albuquerque reliever Joe Grimm picked up the win. Kevin Gaydos took the loss for Calgary. Danny Chase closed the door for Albuquerque, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Albuquerque used the timely hitting of Israel Munoz to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cacti on top, 9-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Munoz told the Albuquerque Herald.

The Cacti, now 9-5, have been playing some good baseball.
