Cabo San Lucas Defeated By Earthquakes, 5-1
|
The San Francisco Earthquakes bumped off the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 5-1, at Golden Gate Park. Dylan Robertson hit 1 single and 1 double. He also had 1 RBI. Quirino Lorenzetti picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Alejandro Castro suffered the loss. Picking up the save was Antonio Rojas, his 1st.
San Francisco grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Robertson hit a run-scoring double off Alejandro Castro. His 7th double of the season put the Earthquakes out in front, 2-1.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said San Francisco manager Bill DesMarais. "It's usually not just one thing."
The setback makes the Toreros 5-10.
