Cacti Beat Visiting Privateers, 5-2

Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Albuquerque Sports Stadium.
The Albuquerque Cacti dealt the Memphis Privateers a 5-2 loss at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Kerry Stricker was the star on offense. He went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Privateers, 8-8, continue their so-so start to the 2064 season.
Stricker had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-2 sinker from Esteban Mora, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Cacti a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Stricker.
"I loved our energy," said Albuquerque manager Randy Haynes. "I loved the way we played."
