The Montreal Mounties and Cabo San Lucas Toreros played an exciting game.

The Montreal Mounties got a stellar performance from pitcher Warren Foradori, who handcuffed the Cabo San Lucas offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Field de Los Layendas. The winning pitcher was Foradori, now 3-0. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 4.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Cody Jaeger? The Montreal second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Mounties on top, 2-1. For the game, Jaeger had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Jaeger.

The Mounties have hit the ground running, raising their record to 12-4. While it's still too soon to talk about Montreal hoisting their 2nd ABL Championship trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.
