The Madison Muskies picked up a win at The Corral, topping the Reno Raiders, 6-2. On the mound for Madison was right-hander Antonio Mercado. He played a principal role in the triumph. Madison is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 3rd win in 12 games.

Andrew Hubbard had a big bases-clearing triple for the Muskies in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Madison leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Aragon and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Muskies ahead, 5-0.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Mercado.
