Maple Defeated By Earthquakes, 5-3
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the San Francisco Earthquakes and Maple Marauders.
San Francisco Earthquakes starter Jared Ritsch was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Maple Marauders, 5-3. With the loss, Maple falls to 7-12.
San Francisco used the timely hitting of Dylan Robertson to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Earthquakes on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In comments to the San Francisco Daily, Robertson admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
