Cats Suffer 5-2 Loss to Bowling Green
|
The Bowling Green Racers tallied a win at Top of the Hill, throttling the Fort Worth Cats, 5-2. Starting pitcher Ken McCutcheon was a big reason for his team's success. Bowling Green, now 2-11, is off to a slow start.
Cesar Diaz had a big bases-clearing triple for the Racers in the bottom of the third inning. With Bowling Green leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Eric Jefcoat and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Racers ahead, 5-0.
"I had pretty good command out there," said McCutcheon.
