Not everyone stuck through the 34-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Baton Rouge Outlaws met little resistance from the Fort Worth Cats, beating them, 12-3, at Coca Cola Stadium. Ross Thambo led the way. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge is now 6-5.

The Outlaws got a big hit from third baseman Jaden Christian. Facing Fort Worth pitcher Ryan Dodge in the bottom of the eighth, Christian pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 1st home run of the season put the Outlaws ahead, 12-3.

"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Thambo told the Baton Rouge Observer.
