Privateers Net 7-4 Win Over Beaches

At Bar Habor Stadium, the Cozumel Beaches and Memphis Privateers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Memphis Privateers topped the Cozumel Beaches, 7-4, in RCL AAA action at Bar Habor Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Memphis pitcher Salvador Aguilar. Aguilar got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs.
Memphis used a well-timed hit by Khalil Easterling to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Privateers ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Easterling told the Memphis Times.
The Beaches drop to 4-8, as their fitful start to the 2064 campaign continues.
