Caterpillars Topple Bumblebees with Late Rally
The Peoria Caterpillars had to overcome a fine effort from Pasadena pitcher Jim Rankin to win, 8-6, at Excavatar Park. Rankin went 6 innings and allowed no runs. The Bumblebees, 5-7, continue their poor start to the 2064 campaign.

Peoria took the lead, 8-5, on Miguel Pineiro's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Pasadena pitcher Hicham Munoru in the bottom of the eighth.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Pineiro told the Peoria Herald.
