The Freeze grabbed a win, 4-3, at The Death Star, overcoming a fine effort from Detroit pitcher Bernard Young. Young went 9 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. The Freeze, now 7-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.

It could have been a different outcome for Minneapolis, had it not been for Omar Barroso, the 25-year old center fielder . Barroso contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Minneapolis up, 4-0.

"We did enough to win," said Barroso.
