Roberto Miranda was instrumental in his team's 8-2 triumph over the Albuquerque Cacti. The third baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 triples, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Fort Worth Cats. The winner was Larry Viola, who threw 96 pitches over 5.1 innings.
