Late Charge Gets Reno 7-5 Win
The Reno Raiders grabbed a win, 7-5, over the Pasadena Bumblebees in 10 innings at The Hole. Reno first baseman Phil Peters slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Reno, now 7-1, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Kevin Vell came through with a big-time hit for Reno. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Reno manager Maziba Ewansiha.
