The Mexico City Luchadores knocked off the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 6-3, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Royal Grounds. Mexico City pitcher and Toronto, Canada, native Duane Alcock had an outstanding performance. In 7 innings, Alcock surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. The Luchadores with just their 5th win in 17 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

The Luchadores got a big at-bat from shortstop Gary Greenlaw. For the game, Greenlaw went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Mexico City a 3-0 lead.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Greenlaw told the Mexico City Daily.
