The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the Joplin Fireballs by the score of 16-8. Chris Paterson starred for Amarillo, going 4-for-4 with 1 home run. With the loss, Joplin falls to 2-7.

Tyler Pate, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2055 draft, helped out the Amarillo cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk.
