Raiders Prevail, 4-3, Over Detroit
|
The Death Star was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Reno Raiders and the Detroit Death Stars.
Reno beat Detroit at The Death Star, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to shortstop Rich Vega, who earned player of the game honors. The loss drops Detroit to 3-5.
Bobby Serrato did his part for the Raiders, producing a 2-run double in the top of the second inning. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Detroit manager Matthew Barton, "let me know."
