The Calgary Cowboys scooped up a win at Cowboys Field, dumping the Fairfield Flash, 2-1. Jose del Real was essential to his team's success. The winner was del Real. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Mike Whittle. Alberto Ponce closed the door for Calgary, picking up his 1st save of the year.

The Cowboys got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Nick Youngblood. For the game, Youngblood went 1 for 1 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Calgary a 2-1 lead.
