The Bowling Green Racers beat the Albuquerque Cacti, 7-6, in part because of first baseman Adam Hunt. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The loss drops Albuquerque to 1-5.
Bowling Green used a clutch at-bat from Sam Young to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Racers ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Hunt.
