The Bowling Green Racers beat the State College Swallowtails, 8-5, at Top of the Hill. The win was due in part to catcher Oliver King, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Mike Dorr picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 6 in 6 innings. Bowling Green sits at 3-2.

With Bowling Green leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, King hit a changeup from Justin Vasile for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Racers ahead, 3-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," King told the Bowling Green Bulletin.
