Coal Miners Win at Madison, 6-1
|
The rain came, as predicted, but the Antioch Coal Miners and Madison Muskies were able to complete their ballgame.
Antioch Coal Miners pitcher Josh DuBose was in top form, leading his team past the Madison Muskies, 6-1. With their winning streak at 4, the Coal Miners have raced to a strong start this season.
It could have been a different outcome for Antioch, had it not been for Elijah Tapps, the 22-year old catcher . Tapps contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning to put Antioch up, 1-0.
"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said DuBose.
