Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old right fielder Antonio Paiz, the Cozumel Beaches stopped the Fort Worth Cats, 6-1, in 9 innings. Cozumel has a record of 1-3.

Paiz had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Beaches went on to win.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Paiz told the Cozumel Times.
