Marauders Get Extra-Inning, 7-6 Win
San Francisco first baseman Jeff Spain was sensational. He went 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Maple beat the Earthquakes, 7-6, in 11 innings. The Earthquakes fall to 7-10 and continue their sputtering start to the 2065 season.

Maple got a knockout punch from John Conner. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We'll build on this win," said Conner.
