Carlos Ayala said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza, and it showed in the box score. The Amarillo right fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Indianapolis Ambition, leading his club to victory, 11-5.

"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Ayala said later."

Carlos Ayala doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
