Jones gets 3 RBI to Light NoBos Fuse
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the St. Petersburg Pelicans home opener. Carlos Moreno started for the home team against Alexis Roussel for the Campo NoBos. The Pelicans were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 13-10, Campo. Paul Jones, though, was impressive. The winner in relief was Vinny Bustos. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Robbie Morales recorded the save, his 1st.

Campo needed the clutch hitting of Mike Klick to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the NoBos on top, 12-10. For the game, Klick had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Jones.
