The Calgary Hitmen started the 2064 season win an impressive 4-3 win against the Albuquerque Cacti at Mckinley Park. George Deisinger led the way for Calgary. Duane Alcock, the winner, goes to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 6 walks and 6 strikeouts over 6 innings.
Deisinger had a timely hit for Calgary in the bottom of the sixth. With Calgary trailing 3-2, he turned a 0-1 cutter into a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 4-3, Calgary.
