Eclipse Deal Gremlins Painful Loss
|
The Chicago Eclipse had to overcome a good performance from Houghton pitcher Jared Ritsch to claim a 3-2 win at Millennium Field. Ritsch went 7 innings and allowed no runs. The 4th-place Eclipse now sit at 75-64.
The Eclipse got a clutch hit from first baseman Kyle Bullock. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Eclipse.
Bullock said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
