Big Day for Simmons in 11-6 Sasquatch Win
The Seattle Sasquatch beat the Montreal Jazz, 11-6, at Stade Claude Raymond. Seattle catcher Steve Simmons led the way. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 7. With the win over Montreal, the Sasquatch improved to 66-73.

With Seattle leading 4-0 in the top of the fourth, Simmons came up to bat against Montreal pitcher Roberto Vallejos. Simmons hit a changeup to center for a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season put the Sasquatch on top, 8-0.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Simmons.
