Mavericks Win with Late Rally
The El Paso Mavericks picked up a win at Millennium Field, dropping the Chicago Eclipse, 5-4, in 12 innings. Alexis Ochoa, who finished 3rd in the TML in innings pitched with 239.2 in 2058, was the difference-maker. The Mavericks are now 73-89, while the Eclipse fall to 92-70.

Vincent Herrera came through with a big-time hit for El Paso. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said El Paso field general Lorenzo Castillo.
