At Arson Arena, the San Francisco Earthquakes and Bloomington Blazers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Bloomington Blazers downed the San Francisco Earthquakes, 8-1, at Arson Arena. Stellar pitching by Mike Hursh had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the TML in complete games with 1, handcuffed his opponent all game. Hursh picked up the win for Bloomington, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 9-12.

Taylor Nunley, the 26th overall pick in the 2062 draft, came through for Bloomington with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 RBI.

"When Mike is on, he can really move the ball around," said Bloomington manager Leo Dethwright.
