Luchadores Suffer One-Run Loss at Cabo San Lucas
Mexico City first baseman Leo Galdamez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Galdamez was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3, even as Cabo San Lucas beat the Luchadores, 8-7. Santiago Sanchez was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-2. The losing pitcher was Josh Messenger. The last-place Toreros are now 62-95, the Luchadores 67-90.

Danny Douglass hit a 3-run home run off Josh Messenger in the bottom of the first, which put the Toreros ahead, 4-2. In addition to the homer, Douglass had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Douglass.
