Right-hander Monty Brewster mesmerized the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners while leading the Kansas City Tornadoes to a 5-0 victory. The last-place Tornadoes sport a record of 68-90.

Kansas City took a 5-0 lead on Andy Chambers's 42nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Chambers hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Eagle Rock pitcher Andrew Shackleton visibly frustrated.

"Monty did a tremendous job," said Kansas City manager Lewis Cannon.
