The Buffalo Bison picked up a win at Debris Field, knocking off the Kansas City Tornadoes, 7-4. Starting pitcher Felix Reina Jr. was a big reason why. Buffalo is now 55-79, Kansas City 75-59.

Sammy Gillin provided a timely hit. The Buffalo pinch hitter delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bison on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Gillin told the Buffalo Herald. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
