Losing Trend Continues for Bloomington
|
Getting an impressive start from Justin Henley, Maple beat Bloomington by the score of 5-2. Henley, now 5-8, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Josh Wahl sewed up the save, his 2nd.
With two out in the bottom of the eighth, Wade Gosselin had a game-changing hit. The Marauders left fielder slammed a 2-run single off Martin Mercier, making the score 5-2, Maple.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Henley.
The last-place Marauders now sit at 54-80.
