The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

In a high-scoring contest between Seattle and Dallas, center fielder Freddy Salgado was a difference-maker. Salgado distinguished himself in the 10-8 Seattle win. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Wayne Duncan was the winner. He's now 2-0. The loser was Andrew Shackleton.
