Streaking Bison Win Another One, 5-3
|
Bighorn Bison starter Tatsuhi Naki found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Walnut Creek Warriors. Eric Strief, who is tied for 6th in the TML in holds with 9, was the winner in relief. His record is now 8-1. The losing pitcher was Matt White. Mike Lake earned the save for Bighorn, his 27th of the year.
Bill Dunlap came through for Bighorn when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a two-strike sinker to center field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Dunlap after the game.
The Bison have now reeled off 6 straight wins.
