The Buffalo Bison defeated the Kansas City Tornadoes, 9-6, at Debris Field. Jon Fregeau was a standout performer for Buffalo. His 2 hits included 1 single and 1 double -- this in addition to the 3 runs he scored and 1 he knocked in. The Bison now have a record of 54-79 with the win over Kansas City.
In the top of the fifth, Buffalo catcher Dean Nappi had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Nappi stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 8-5, Buffalo. For the game, he went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
