Ramrods Take Nail-Biter Over Slice
Station Center Yard was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Huntington Station Ramrods defeated the Manhattan Slice, 7-6, in 10 innings. Chris Kern led the way, going 2-for-4 for Huntington Station. The win went to Dusty Miranda in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Mario Mirabal took the loss.

The Ramrods got a clutch hit from second baseman Danny Ortiz. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ramrods.

In postgame remarks, Ortiz simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

The Ramrods improved their record to 58-75 with the win over Manhattan.
