Win Streak at 11 for Honu
The Hawaii Honu defeated the Bighorn Bison, 8-3, at Aloha Stadium. Hawaii catcher Paul Cavanaugh had a superb performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Picking up his 5th save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher David Heisler. The Honu, now 74-59, have won 11 in a row.

With Hawaii leading 5-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Cavanaugh hit a curveball from Eric Steinbach for a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Honu ahead, 8-3.

"The positive vibes are all around the clubhouse," said Honu manager Naoki Okada. "Once you see a player having a good at-bat, that's really contagious."
