Butterflies Lose, 11-5, at Arson Arena
The Bloomington Blazers defeated the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 11-5, in Thurman Munson League action at Arson Arena. Lateef Zitouna pulled his weight. The 8-year veteran was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. John Peters, who is tied for 2nd in the TML in wins with 16, picked up the win in relief. Marty Taborda took the loss for Pennsylvania. Bloomington now has a record of 93-61 with the win.

With Bloomington leading 6-5 in the bottom of the fifth, Zitouna hit a slider from Marty Taborda for a run-scoring double. It was his 59th double of the season and put the Blazers ahead, 7-5.

"We're in the driver's seat," said Zitouna. "I like our chances."
