Bighorn Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Walnut Creek first baseman Kevin McArdle had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-7, to Bighorn at Ram Brewery Ballpark. McArdle hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The 4th-place Bison have won 4 consecutive games.

Bighorn got a knockout punch from Luis Farinas. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Farinas said in his postgame press conference.
