The Jacksonville Pilots overcame a pretty good performance by Buffalo left fielder Cliff Millar, beating the Bison, 5-4, at Arnold Field. Millar went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win belonged to Hisham Kontar in relief. His record improves to 8-5. Esteban Mora took the loss for Buffalo. The Pilots improved their record to 82-71 by beating Buffalo.
Jacksonville pinch hitter Josh Flamm helped the Pilots go up, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Flamm hit a run-scoring single off Buffalo pitcher Esteban Mora.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.
