The Vancouver Pioneers overcame a pretty good performance by Milwaukee first baseman Rodolfo Ollervides, beating the Millers, 7-6, in 12 innings. Ollervides went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Pioneers lead the Thurman Munson League West Division by a game.

The Pioneers got a clutch hit from shortstop Wonus Hagner. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pioneers.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Milwaukee manager Daniel Breuer.
