The Kansas City Tornadoes used a stellar performance from pitcher Monty Brewster to throttle the Mexico City offense en route to an extra-inning, 4-2 win at Debris Field. Kansas City is now 64-89.

The decisive blow was delivered by Patrick Nicolas in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ray Heck to win the game for Kansas City. The home crowd went nuts.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Brewster.
