The Seattle Sasquatch topped the Milwaukee Millers, 7-5, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Seattle first baseman Steve Svehla was a spark plug for the offense. He went 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Corey Moore. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Caleb Brickhouse closed it out for Seattle, earning his 3rd save.

Jose Gonzalez had a big 2-run home run for the Sasquatch in the bottom of the second inning. With Seattle leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from Israel Cancel, who finished 5th in the RCL in wins with 18 in 2054, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Sasquatch on top, 4-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Svehla.

Seattle is now 74-78. Milwaukee is 64-87.
