Quebec Armada starter John Tuck pitched a strong game against the Cairo Pharaohs at Lucky 7 Ballpark, leading the Armada to victory, 6-4. In 7 innings, Tuck surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. Adam Sturm closed the door for Quebec, picking up his 6th save of the year.

The Armada got a big at-bat from first baseman Phil Peters. For the game, Peters went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 26th double of the season gave Quebec a 4-2 lead.

"We're in a rut," said Cairo manager Shane Saucier.

Quebec raised its record to 74-55 with the win.
