Frank Frisby brought his A-game to help El Paso defeat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-1. Morgan Henn earned save number 36 this season. The Mavericks improved to 69-82.

The Mavericks got a big at-bat from right fielder Noah Chadick. For the game, Chadick went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 14th home run of the season gave El Paso a 2-1 lead.

"I thought Frank threw the ball well across the board," said El Paso manager Lorenzo Castillo.
